Our Moissanite
Every MOHRA piece begins with the same stone: high-clarity VVS moissanite — most at the very top VVS1 grade — colourless, brilliant, and cut to the exacting standards the great houses use.
A stone with its own story
Moissanite is rarer than diamond in nature. It was first discovered in the crater of a fallen meteorite, mistaken at first for diamond. Today it is created in the laboratory — conflict-free, and with more fire and brilliance than a diamond, at a fraction of the cost.
The quality we choose
We set high-clarity VVS moissanite — most at the very top VVS1 grade — graded to the D–E–F colour range, the same near-colourless quality premium jewellers certify as their finest. Every stone is eye-clean, exceptionally brilliant, and rated 9.25 on the Mohs scale — hard enough for a lifetime of everyday wear. And we always show the exact grade on each piece, VVS1 or VVS D, so you know precisely what you are wearing.
- VVS clarity — eye-clean and brilliant, most pieces at the top VVS1 grade
- D–E–F colour — colourless and bright
- GRA certificate included with every moissanite piece
- Passes standard diamond testers
- More fire than a diamond — a higher refractive index means more brilliance
Honestly priced
At the luxury houses, a single loose stone of this grade can cost many hundreds of dollars — before it is ever set into a piece. We source beautifully and set by hand, then price without the markup of a famous name. The stone is the same. The story is simply more honest.
Luxury you can live in.
