What is moissanite?
Moissanite is a lab-created gemstone prized for its brilliance and fire. It's one of the most light-reflective gemstones in the world, which is what gives it that unmistakable sparkle — at a fraction of the cost.

Is moissanite real?
Yes. Moissanite is a real gemstone in its own right — lab-created, GRA certified, and hard enough (9.25 on the Mohs scale) to wear every day. We'll always tell you exactly what you're buying: VVS1 moissanite. We think honesty is part of the luxury.

Will it pass a diamond tester?
Yes. Our VVS1 moissanite passes standard diamond testers. A dedicated moissanite tester can identify it — and we'd never hide what it is.

Do your pieces come with certification?
Yes — every MOHRA piece includes a GRA certificate, so you can see exactly what you're wearing.

What are your pieces made of?
A solid 925 sterling silver base with an 18K gold finish or rhodium finish, depending on the style (our Gold Vermeil pieces are noted on their product pages). Every piece is nickel- and lead-free, so it's gentle on sensitive skin.

Will the gold finish wear off?
Our 18K gold finish sits over solid 925 sterling silver. With everyday care it stays beautiful for a long time, but like any gold-finished piece it can gradually wear with heavy friction, moisture and chemicals. Take it off before showering, swimming, exercising, or applying perfume and lotion, and store it dry.

How do I care for my jewellery?
Remove it before showering, swimming, working out, or applying perfume and lotion. Wipe it gently with the MOHRA care cloth included with every order, and store it somewhere dry. A little care keeps the sparkle — and the finish — lasting.

Sizing

How do I find my ring size?
Wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimetres — then match it to a standard ring-size chart. Our rings are available in sizes 6, 7, and 8. If you're between sizes or unsure, email us at hello@shopmohra.com.

What if my size sells out?

Orders, shipping & returns

Where do you ship?
We ship across Canada and the United States.

How much is shipping?
Holiday offer: standard shipping is free on all Canadian orders until December 31. From January 1, shipping is free on Canadian orders over $150. US orders ship free over $150. Below that, a flat-rate Standard option is shown at checkout before you pay ($10 within Canada, $18 to the US). We also offer an Express option at checkout for a flat $29 if you'd like your order faster.

How long will my order take?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and shipped via Canada Post with tracking. Standard delivery follows Canada Post's standard service to your address; Express (available at checkout) uses a faster Canada Post service. Delivery times are Canada Post estimates, not guarantees.

Is my order protected if it's lost or damaged?
Yes. Every order ships tracked, and your parcel is covered against loss or damage in transit. If anything goes wrong, just email hello@shopmohra.com and we'll make it right — a repair, replacement, or refund.

What's your return policy?
Unworn pieces in original condition — with packaging and certificate — can be returned within 14 days. Earrings are final sale for hygiene reasons. See our Return & Refund Policy for details.
